Rhythm sign solid rebounder
January 28, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Nashville Rhythm News Release
Nashville, TN. The ABA Nashville Rhythm signed 6'8" forward Ryan Boles to fill the roster spot left open when Odell Bradley left for a professional contract in Finland, one of several Rhythm players who signed with international teams in the last month. According to GM Dan Bucher, "Between the loss of players to lucrative contracts and the injury to Dontae Jones, it has been difficult. Ryan is a welcome addition to the team - a very good big man and rebounder."
A year ago, Boles ruled the boards for the NCAA Division II California University of Pennsylvania who finished with a 27-3 record and claimed the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship. In his three years, he had 472 rebounds and 113 blocked shots. Boles also played professionally in Belgium where he averaged a double double, 10 points and 10 rebounds.
