Central Valley Coyotes Travel To Louisiana for Game Two

(Shreveport, LA) - The Central Valley Coyotes who are traveling to Louisiana for game 2 of the 2006 season to play the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings at CenturyTel Center. The Coyotes opened their season last Saturday with a decisive win over Rio Grande Valley 65-34; this will be the first game of the year for the Battle Wings.

The Coyotes are looking for another strong performance from their defense, which includes James Landers a Shrevport native who played high school football at Evangel Christian Academy. If the defense plays strong and keeps the ball in the hands of the Scott Rislov lead offense the Coyotes have a good chance to get that all important victory second victory of the season. Rislov threw for 7 touchdowns against the Dorados last week, and may need a repeat performance to beat the yet untested Battle Wings.

Kick off for Saturday's game will be at 5:00pm PST and can be heard on ESPN Radio 1430, listen to all of the play by play action brought to you Guy Haberman and Bryan Whitmore.

The Coyotes return home next Saturday April 15th to take on their hated rival the Bakersfield Blitz.
