
Celebrities Announced for Brian McCann Rally Celebrity Softball Game

New York Yankees catcher Brian McCann and his wife Ashley will return as the honorary chairs for the fifth annual Brian McCann Rally Celebrity Softball Game. This event serves as one of two events that are part of the Delta Air Lines Double Play and is presented by Jet Sports Management, Ashley and Brian McCann and the Chipper Jones Family Foundation. Tickets for the Brian McCann Rally Celebrity Softball Game are FREE for children 10 and under, $5 for students and $10 for adults. Food and drinks provided by Sweet Auburn BBQ, Papa John's, Taziki's, Coca-Cola and Caribou Coffee will be available for purchase. WHO: Ashley and Brian McCann and Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research (Rally). Rally Kids, kids who have fought or are fighting cancer, will be the honored guests at the event. Team captains include Bert from Q100's The Bert Show and Tug from Kicks 101.5 FM.
WHEN: The gates will open Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. The first pitch will take place at 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: Coolray Field, home of the Gwinnett Braves, located at 2500 Buford Drive in Lawrenceville.
WHY: The Brian McCann Rally Celebrity Softball Game serves as one of two events featured in the Delta Air Lines Double Play. The second event, the Benefit Bash presented by Robert Mondavi Winery, will take place the following Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at 6 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Buckhead. The Delta Air Lines Double Play has raised more than $2.3 million for childhood cancer research.
