NEWARK, N.J. -- Think of the Newark Bears when it comes to celebrating your child's birthday. Packages are currently available and reservations are being taken for the Domino's Bears Birthday Bash.
Each Birthday Bash party includes a minimum of 10 box seat tickets, a personal-size Domino's pizza, small soft drink and cupcake for each child along with a host of other amenities. Children also receive tokens to be used in the stadium arcade as well as a crowd rendition of Happy Birthday with the birthday boy or girl on the field. The Bears will also present the birthday child with a Bears' t-shirt. Packages for 10 children start at $200 and discounted seats for parents ($8 box seats) are available. "What better way than to celebrate a birthday than at the ballpark," Newark Vice President/General Manager Chris Bryan said. "Our Birthday Bash program is extremely popular and we are looking forward to making every child's birthday a day or night they will remember forever."
The Newark Bears compete in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, capturing the league title in 2002. The Atlantic League consists of eight teams in five different states and enters its sixth season of competition on May 1.
