Rochester Knighthawks News Release

It will be a doubleheader of fun on Saturday March 31st, as the Knighthawks take on the first-place Colorado Mammoth in the afternoon and then host their inaugural Kids Fest that evening. A game ticket gets you admission to both events.

"Lacrosse is the fastest growing youth sport in North America and we are happy to be able to dedicate one of our games this year as Kids Day," said Knighthawks President Lewis Staats. "The 1:00 p.m. start time gives us the perfect opportunity to get as many kids as possible to come out and enjoy a Knighthawks lacrosse game. Kids can then head over to TSE for more fun times, and a chance to get autographs and pictures with the Knighthawks players."

Fans can meet the players, dance team and the mascot, R. Thunder, at Kids Day at Total Sports Experience (TSE) in Gates. The event also features inflatables, laser tag, face painters and air brush tattoos from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The Knighthawks kick off the day by hosting the Colorado Mammoth at 1:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena. The first 5,000 fans will receive a Knighthawks flashlight key chain. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and at The Blue Cross Arena Box Office.

The Mammoth lead the West Division with an 8-2 record, but the Knighthawks are hot as of late, winning three of their last four matchups. Rochester is only a half a game behind the East leading Philadelphia Wings.
