
CCM USHL Players of the Week Named

The United States Hockey League announced the CCM Forward, Defenseman and Goaltender of the Week for Week 17 of the 2015-16 season. Highly touted forward Clayton Keller earned weekly honors after a big weekend, while Cedar Rapids goaltender Ben Blacker won his second weekly award this season. Youngstown's Connor Moore earned his first career weekly distinction. CCM Hockey is the official equipment partner of the USHL.
Clayton Keller - Team USA
2 GP: 2 goals, 3 assists, +1
Keller scored twice and added two more assists Saturday night against Waterloo, his eighth multi-point performance this season. With Friday's assist, Keller has now scored in 11 of 13 games this season and is currently on an eight-game point streak. Keller has scored 19 points over those eight games. Despite playing in just 13 games this season, Keller ranks in the top-20 in USHL scoring with 27 points. The Boston University commit picked up his second game-winning goal this season Saturday, doubling his total from last season. The Swansea, IL native has scored two goals three different times this season. Keller previously played for Shattuck St. Mary's prior to joining Team USA for the 2014-15 season.
Connor Moore - Youngstown Phantoms
2 GP: 1 goal, 3 assists, +3
Moore scored back-to-back multi-point performances over the weekend. The Cumming, GA native has been credited with three multi-point games this season. Moore leads all Phantoms defensemen in scoring, and ranks 11th in the USHL with 18 points in 34 games. Youngstown is 2-0-0-0 this season with Moore scores a goal, and 3-0-0-0 when he is credited with a multi-point performance. Moore played three games with Youngstown over the past two years, scoring a goal and assist. Moore played for Brooks School (USHS) and for Neponset Valley River Rats (Midget) prior to joining the Phantoms. The Boston College commit was undrafted in the USHL.
Ben Blacker - Cedar Rapids RoughRiders
2-0-0-0, 1.50 GAA, .951 SV%
Blacker continues to log heavy minutes for Cedar Rapids, starting 21 of their last 24 games. Blacker has won four consecutive starts in net, and has maintained a 1.50 GAA and .973 SV% over that time. Blacker ranks second in wins (17), fourth in save percentage (.921) and sixth in GAA (2.43), all while logging the second-most minutes and saves in the USHL this season. Blacker turned away 35 shots on Friday, the 17th time this season that he has faced 30 or more shots in net. Cedar Rapids is 10-5-1-1 in games that Blacker faces 30 or more shots. The Oakville, Ontario native is in his second USHL season with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. Blacker played for the Milton IceHawks (OJHL) and Brampton 45's (Midget) prior to being selected by the Indiana Ice in the 2013 USHL Phase I Draft in the 4th round, 46th overall.
