Cayole Returns

Summerside Storm News Release


(Summerside PE) Chris Cayole of the Summerside Storm has been taken off the injured reserve list.

The 6'8" 220lb small forward has been out of commission since December 20th when he suffered a high ankle sprain in the home game against The London Lightning. Cayole had been shooting 48% from the floor and 46% from the three-point line; he is expected to play in Halifax tomorrow night.

The Storm also have released Terry Martin, Coach Salerno said about Martin:

"Terry is a very good player, and will certainly catch on some where with another team. He wad asked to play a lesser role with us then what he was used to. I give him a lot of credit for making that adjustment while he was here, and handling the situation like a true professional. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors."

Catch the action live from Halifax on EastLink TV, Saturday at 7pm. The next home game is February 9th, 7pm, when the Storm take on London.

The Storm are suggesting to the Premier to change the name of Islander to Storm Day, to help out, drop by The Storm Centre at Credit Union Place to sign our list.
