Cavalry to host free youth basketball and dance clinics

The Aurora Cavalry will be hosting a free youth basketball and dance team clinic on Saturday January 14th at Gateway High School, 1300 S. Sable Blvd, Aurora, CO 80012, from 1 to 6 p.m.
The basketball clinic- begins at 1 p.m. and is open to all youths ages 6 and up. All Clinic participants will receive instruction from Aurora Cavalry players and coaches in the following areas: Life Skills, Offensive Skills, Defensive Skills, Free Throws/Shooting, Lay-ups and there will be a few scrimmage sessions.
The dance clinic- The Cavalry Girls will also be hosting a free dance team clinic open to boys and girls ages 6 and up. Participants are invited to join the Cavalry Girls for a day of fun, music, and dancing. Information about our future Jr. dance team-the Cavalry Cadets, will also be provided. The Cavalry Cadets will be performing at a select number of home games.
