Aurora Cavalry News Release

Aurora, CO- The Aurora Cavalry (11-7) returned to their hard charging ways with a thrilling 151-148 win over the visiting Eugene Chargers (11-6) on Thursday night.

Early on it appeared as if the Cavalry were still feeling the effects of a disastrous California road trip after trailing at the half by 19 points, and 16 points at the end of the third quarter. An inspired effort by several Cavalry players and the small but raucous crowd lifted the Cavalry to their first win in five games. Michael Morse led the Cavalry with a season high 44 points. Several other Cavalry players also had huge games, Jamar Bohanon (33 points), Leslie Richardson (31 points), Solomon Yearby (25 points), and Aaron Green (14 points).

The Cavalry host the Eugene Chargers again on Saturday night, June 24th, 7pm at Gateway High School. Fan Appreciation Week continues with reduced tickets ($5 adults, $3 children) and free game programs. There will also be a special half-time performance and chances to win prizes such as an autographed game ball. For more information, call 303-591-4172 or email info@auroracavalry.com
