Cavalry sweeps visiting Chargers

Aurora, CO- The Cavalry (12-7) continued their home dominance with a 142-135 win over the visiting Eugene Chargers (12-7) on Saturday night at Gateway High School. With the win, the Cavalry moved into a tie for third place in the West Division.

Solomon Yearby hit seven three pointers for the Cavalry en route to a game high and season high 36 points. Once again, several Cavalry players combined for big games. Jamar Bohanon scored 33 points, Michael Morse had 26 and Leslie Richardson contributed with 25 points. The Cavalry also welcomed the return of F/C Phillip Hillstock (9 points) who has missed a few games to attend workouts with the Denver Nuggets. Larry Morinia led the Charger's with 26 points.

The Cavalry conclude their inaugural season Friday, June 30th against cross town rival, the Colorado Crossover. The game will be played at Gateway High School at 7pm.
