Shorthanded Cavalry Drop Second in a row

Tri-City, CA- For the second time in two nights, the shorthanded Aurora Cavalry were dealt another loss. This time by the Tri-City Ballers (10-4) who took sole possession of first place in the West with a 136-110 win. The Cavalry (10-5) dropped their second loss in a row for the first time this season. After losing their first 3 games by a combined total of six points, the Cavalry suffered their second consecutive loss by 25 or more points. The Cavalry dropped to fourth place in the tight West division with two games remaining on the California road trip.

Five Tri-City players scored in double figures, led by 28 points from Markeen Chandler. The Cavalry's DJ Stelly scored a season high 38 points for the Cavalry to lead all scorers.

Next up for the Cavalry is the 8-8 Oakland Slammers. The two teams square off tonight at 7pm in Oakland's Merritt College.
