
Cavalry to announce team details and head coach

Albany, NY (May 23, 2007) - The Continental Basketball Association's (CBA) Oklahoma Cavalry will hold a press conference to introduce ownership, management, head coach and details of the newly awarded expansion franchise. The team is gearing up for the 2007-08 season, which marks the return of the CBA to the state of Oklahoma as the Oklahoma Cavalry in ten years.
The CBA is the world's oldest professional basketball league and is currently entering its 62nd year of operations. A member of the USA Basketball and FIBA, the CBA has been a proven ground for the development of players, coaches and management executives. Over 600 players and coaches have been called up to the NBA since 1979. Several high profile coaches and players are currently serving in the NBA including Phil Jackson, Maurice Cheeks, George Karl, Bruce Bowen, Earl Boykins and Avery Johnson.
