CBA to hold annual spring owner's meeting

Albany, NY (May 23, 2007) - The Continental Basketball Association will be holding their annual spring owner's meeting on Friday, May 25 and Saturday, May 26 at the Washington Avenue Armory, home of the CBA League office and the Albany Patroons.
These meetings serve as the starting point for the 2007-08 CBA season, which will start on Friday, November 16. A variety of topics will be discussed, including, scheduling, rule changes, league sponsorships and expansion. Each of the member franchises will be represented along with CBA league personnel.
"This is an exciting and important time for the CBA," said CBA Director of Operations Dennis Truax. "We will be completing the expansion screening for a number of franchises and we will be making final preparations for the 2007-08 schedule along with taking a look at the 2006-07 season and see how we as a league can improve and make the upcoming season even better for our fans and sponsors. I would expect to have some major announcements after the league meeting."
