Cavalry Celebrations Begin on Friday

LAWTON, OKLA- The 2008 CBA Champions are home, and the celebrations will begin on Friday, April 4.

The Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry will be honored by Mayor John Purcell and Commissioner Ron Kirby Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the South entry of the county courthouse. The Cavs will also receive keys to the city.

The victory party will start at 8:00 p.m. at the Great Plains Coliseum located at 920 S. Sheridan and is open to the public. There will be a short presentation, music, and dancing. Players and coaches will be available for autographs and pictures as well.

Wear your Cavs attire or Cavs colors, and welcome home the 2008 CBA Champions.
