Catfish Honor Soldiers with Military Appreciation Night

Columbus, GA - Join the Columbus Catfish, Tidwell Cancer Treatment Center, and WRBL News 3 at Golden Park Saturday, August 26 as we show our appreciation for the men and women of the military. Our final Military Appreciation Night of the season will include food specials, music and promotions for our Soldiers. The Catfish will take on the Charleston RiverDogs at 7:00pm and gates will open early at 5:00pm. On this special day show your military ID at the ticket office for a free general admission ticket.

Prior to the game WHINSEC will present the colors and Chief Warrant Officer Fred J. Catchings will sing the national anthem. Then the Silver Wings, the Command Exhibition Parachute Team from Fort Benning, GA, will perform a live aerial demonstration and deliver a baseball for the ceremonial first pitch of the game, which will be tossed by Major General Walter Wojdakowski.
