HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Milwaukee Brewers have made a few roster moves that will impact their Double-A affiliate Huntsville Stars prior to tonight's game against Mississippi.

Catcher Anderson de la Rosa has been transferred from the Triple-A Nashville Sounds to the Stars. In 12 games with Nashville, he was batting .263 (10-for-38) with five doubles and four RBI.

INF #14 Steffan Wilson has been placed on the disabled list. He is batting .201 (42-for-209) with Huntsville this season. He is currently third on the team in home runs with six.

The Brewers signed free-agent infielder Chris Nowak and assigned him to Huntsville. He went 1-for-3 with a solo-home run in last night's game.

Additionally, RHP Robert Hinton was promoted to Triple-A Nashville. With the Stars in 2010, Hinton was 3-2 with a 3.40 ERA. He recorded one save in four opportunities.

RHP Amaury Rivas was also activated from the disabled list. Rivas was placed on the DL back on July 9 and did not participate in this year's Southern League All-Star Game on July 12.

With these moves, the Stars active roster stays at 24, the Southern League limit.

The Stars look to sweep the Braves in game three of the three-game series tonight at 7 p.m. It's also AAA Triple Play where fans can get three tickets for the price of one ($8). Car Survivor continues in front of Joe Davis Stadium with three contestants remaining: M.J. Gillikin, Jeremy Hatley and Daniel Rice. The prizes have gotten better, with Freddie Louis Auto Accessories offering a free window tinting on the car and a DVD entertainment system installed for the winner. Jerry Damson Honda Acura has also added a $1,000 gas card. but this is all only if the contest makes it to five days. We're only on day two but the stakes are getting higher.
