Cast of Characters Continues to Grow for Royals' Town Hall Meeting
August 16, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, take this opportunity to remind fans about the team's annual Town Hall Meeting on Monday, August 19, 2013, from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm inside the Sovereign Performing Arts Center (136 North Sixth Street) in Reading, Pennsylvania.
In addition to our other guests already announced (overtly and covertly), we're pleased to say that the team's all-time leading scorer, Ryan Cruthers, who currently heads up the Junior Royals youth hockey program, will join the party.
The Royals take this opportunity to remind fans that the doors at SPAC will open at 6:00 pm for persons attending the Town Hall Meeting, who can park free of charge (starting at 5:30 pm) at the Poplar and Walnut Parking Garage courtesy of the Reading Parking Authority.
This season's Town Hall Meeting will feature the Hershey Bears' broadcaster and media relations director, Scott Stuccio, the Royals' general manager Mark Wallace, head coach Larry Courville, and several âspecial guests' (keep it to yourself, but we're bracing for Yannick Tifu and Julien Cayer-who will be down from the beautiful province of Quebec, weather permitting-and local guy and newly-minted Royal, Matt Campanale) all of whom will address the Town Hall crowd and open the floor to questions from fans. Of course, Miss Kelly will be there in all of her blazing (albeit a bit dented and dinged) glory, as well.
A number of pertinent topics will be addressed during this season's Town Hall Meeting, including the current state of the ECHL, the Royals' schedule, the current roster, pending player personnel decisions, the organization's broadcast plans, and several new and interesting elements in the promotional schedule. The Royals never want anyone to leave empty-handed, so the team will have several drawings for prizes-including a bunch of NHL goodies from the Washington Capitals-for those in attendance; and, of course, we anticipate a bevy of Royals' championship merchandise available for purchase.
Season Tickets for the 2012-13 Reading Royals ECHL season are currently available. Call 610-898-7825 for more information or log onto www.royalshockey.com.
