
Case Commits to Ferris State

(Green Bay, WI) The Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) have announced that defenseman Matt Case has committed to Ferris State of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) for the fall of 2006.
Case, 20 (2/16/86) is no stranger to the junior ranks, as he spent the 2004-05 season in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. With the Gamblers, Case is one of only four players to appear in all 48 games, registering 12 points (3g & 9a) and a +6 plus/minus rating.
Case, becomes the 9th Gambler off the 2005-06 squad to commit to a NCAA Division I institution. Others include forwards Sean Backman (Yale), Greg Beller (Yale), Kevin Deeth (Notre Dame), Tyler Lehrke (Bemidji State), Brian Roloff (Vermont), Steve Silva (Northeastern) and defensemen Jeremy Dehner (UMASS-Lowell), Eric Gryba (Boston University).
