
Carruth Returned to Indy

Rockford, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks announced on Thursday that they have reassigned Rockford IceHogs goaltender Mac Carruth to the team's ECHL affiliate, the Indy Fuel.
Carruth, 23, has posted a 0-2-1 record with a 3.32 goals-against average and .882 save percentage in six games with the Rockford IceHogs this season. In his last two starts for the Hogs, Carruth is 0-1-1 and has posted a .919 save percentage to go along with a 2.46 goals-against average. The Jackson, Wyoming native has also collected a 12-7-2 record with a 2.30 GAA, .923 SV% and one shutout in 21 games with the Fuel before being recalled by Rockford on Jan. 22.
Originally drafted by Chicago in the seventh round (191st overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft, Carruth has a 4-5-1 record in 16 career AHL games to go along with a 39-39-10 record with six shutouts in 92 career ECHL contests.
Next Home Game: Tickets for Saturday, March 5 vs. Lake Erie Monsters at 7 p.m are SOLD OUT. Tickets still remain for the game on March 6 versus the Monsters at 4 p.m. March 6 is Autism Awareness Night and after the game, the team will host a "Skate with the Hogs" event where fans will be welcome to skate on the ice with their favorite IceHogs players.
