
Blackhawks Agree to Terms with Baun

Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks announced today they have agreed to terms with forward Kyle Baun on a two-year contract extension, which runs through the end of the 2017-18 National Hockey League season.
Baun, 23, has tallied three helpers in 22 games with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League this year. He earned his first professional point with an assist on the game-winning goal over Grand Rapids on Feb. 14. The Toronto native opened the season with Chicago, registering one shot on goal in two games before being assigned to Rockford on Oct. 16; he has skated in five career NHL games with the Blackhawks since agreeing to terms on a two-year contract on March 26, 2015. Prior to his professional career, Baun registered 79 points (39G, 40A) in 113 contests with Colgate University across three seasons.
Next Home Game: Tickets for Saturday, March 5 vs. Lake Erie Monsters at 7 p.m are SOLD OUT. Tickets still remain for the game on March 6 versus the Monsters at 4 p.m. March 6 is Autism Awareness Night and after the game, the team will host a "Skate with the Hogs" event where fans will be welcome to skate on the ice with their favorite IceHogs players.
