Orlando Predators Wide Receiver Greg Carr

ORLANDO - Orlando Predators wide receiver Greg Carr has been named the Arena Football League's J. Lewis Small Playmaker of Week 12 for his performance in the team's 44-34 victory over the Jacksonville Sharks.
Carr registered four receptions for 75 yards and four touchdowns on the night, helping Orlando become the first team in 2016 to reach 10 wins and clinch home field advantage in the opening round of the postseason. On just the second play of the game, the third-year wideout came up with a 46-yard score that gave the Predators an early lead. With the game tied 14-14 early in the second quarter, Carr successfully converted on 4th-&-Goal as he outmuscled a defender in the end zone to secure a seven-yard touchdown and regain the lead for Orlando.
Carr scored the final two touchdowns of the night for the Predators, helping Orlando put away the game in the fourth quarter. With just over four minutes remaining on the clock, he made a leaping reception in the end zone from 13 yards out. He later snared a nine-yard scoring strike from QB Bernard Morris with 47 seconds remaining to seal the victory.
Through 12 games, Carr has racked up 70 receptions for 990 yards and 23 touchdowns. He ranks fourth in the AFL with an average of 14.1 yards per reception, as well as seventh in touchdown receptions and eighth in receiving yards.
Carr returns to the field this Friday, June 24 when the Predators (10-2) host the Tampa Bay Storm (1-10) in the third edition of the "War on I-4" rivalry at 7:30 p.m. ET.
