
Carolina Thunder and NASCAR team up

Charlotte, NC. Tony Priscaro, CEO of the ABA Carolina Thunder professional basketball team today announced that they are teaming up with NASCAR'S Hendrick Motor Sports for a series of promotions beginning with this weekend's races. According to Priscaro, "We'll be setting up a Carolina Thunder display in front of their gift shop/museum at their race shop this week and we'll have several of our players and coaches there signing autographs as well as our cheerleaders. We are getting tremendous support from Hendrick Motor Sports and their great drivers, Jeff Gordon, Jimmy Johnson, Terry Labonte and Brian Vickers who will all be there for the Busch and Nextel Cup races this weekend."
Priscaro added, "We have worked hard to bring the two Carolina loves together, basketball and racing - and we'd like to invite everyone out to our event this week."
The Carolina Thunder will be at the Gift Shop/Museum on Thursday from 12-4PM (qualifying); Friday from 12-4PM (Busch race), and Saturday from 10-2PM (Nextel Cup Race). Free pocket schedules will be available as well as autographed 8 x 10 schedules and T-shirts.
