Carolina Rhinos News Release

GREENVILLE, SC – The League office of arenafootball2 and the Carolina Rhinos have announced several changes to the team's roster. Keith Enos has been placed back on the active roster as an offensive / defensive lineman, offensive / defensive lineman Marco Walder has been activated off the injured reserve and offensive / defensive lineman Jerry Myers has been moved to the inactive list.

The Rhinos will host the Charleston Swamp Foxes tomorrow, Saturday July 20th, at 7:30 p.m. at the BI-LO Center in downtown Greenville. It will be the first of two straight home games to end the 2002 season for the Rhinos. The game will also mark the Greenville return of offensive / defensive lineman Ronnie Washburn who rejoined the Rhinos last week. Washburn set a franchise record with 15.5 sacks en route to a second-team All-af2 nod and the League's Built Ford Tough Player of the Year last season. He played three games with the Arena Football League's Dallas Desperados earlier this season.

The 3-11 Rhinos enter this week's action tied with the Columbus Wardogs for third place in the Eastern Division on the heels of a 36-18 loss to the Cape Fear Wildcats in their final road game of the season last Saturday. In their most recent home game, the Rhinos snapped a seven-game losing streak with a come-from-behind 42-36 win over Columbus. They are 2-1 all-time versus Charleston winning the last meeting 71-23 at home on June 16th last season.

Charleston enters this week's action still in contention for a spot in the af2's ArenaCup Playoffs. The 7-7 Swamp Foxes are in third place just one game behind the second-place Florida Firecats and two games behind the first-place Tallahassee Thunder but also just one game ahead of the fourth-place Jacksonville Tomcats in the tight South Division. The top two teams in each of the League's eight divisions will qualify for the postseason.

The Rhinos will finish the 2002 season at home versus the Richmond Speed Saturday July 27th at 7:30 p.m. Rhinos' tickets are on sale at the BI-LO Center box office, by calling either 864-233-2525 or 864-576-1550 and online at ticketmaster.com.
