
Carolina Panthers Draft Pick to Throw out First Pitch

Pearl, MS - The Mississippi Braves announce that NFL Draft pick Gary Barnidge will be in attendance at Trustmark Park Wednesday night to throw out the first pitch before the M-Braves game against the Carolina Mudcats.
Barnidge was a fifth round pick of the Carolina Panthers (141st overall) out of the University of Louisville. In his career with the Cardinals, Barnidge played in 47 games and caught 108 passes for 1,491 yards and 17 touchdowns from his tight end position. He was a 1st team All-Big East selection as a senior in 2007 after hauling in 53 catches for 655 yards and seven touchdowns.
Barnidge will be available to sign autographs after tossing the ceremonial first pitch.
