Carolina Cougarz Host Team Try-outs

Fayetteville, NC- The Carolina Cougarz of the Continental Basketball League are pleased to announce that they will be hosting team tryouts for the basketball team as well as the Dance/Cheer team.
Tryouts will take place on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the True Vine Gym, located at 5315 Morganton Road, in Fayetteville. Registration will begin promptly at 10:00 am, followed by tryouts, which will begin at 10:30 am. and last until 4:00 pm. Pre-registration is also available by calling 919-229-6229. If interested in trying out for the dance/cheer team, there is an open call and you must be at least 18 years of age.
Head Coach/Owner Wayne Washington says, "If you think you have what it takes to play professional basketball, this is your opportunity to show off your skills. We are fixed on giving young men a chance to not only to be just basketball players, but also have an opportunity to be positive and productive role models in our community."
Washington says of the dance and cheer team, "These are people who get the fans hyped up and help get the fans into the game. If you have talent and energy, we welcome you to tryout for the team."
