Carolina Cougarz Announce Second Set Of Tryouts

The Carolina Cougarz of the newly formed Continental Basketball League have announced they will be holding a second round of tryouts. Owner Wayne Washington made the announcement on Thursday.
The tryout will be held on March 28th at the Barwell Community Center located at 3935 Barwell Road in Raleigh. If pre-registered, the cost to tryout is $75.00; if registered on the day of, the cost is $100.00. Registration starts at 1:00 with tryouts starting promptly at 1:30.
Coach Wayne Washington says of the tryouts, "Despite a couple of issues, our first tryout in Fayetteville went really well. We are expecting to sign at least four players out of the Fayetteville tryout, and expect to sign at least four more players from the session in Raleigh. There is an abundance of talent in Raleigh and we intend to find the best of the best."

The Continental Basketball League is a five team league with teams in Fayetteville, NC; Savannah, GA; Marietta, GA; Wilmington, NC and Birmingham, AL and will play a 16 game schedule.
