
Carmichael named Goaltender of the Week

HUNTSVILLE, AL â Huntsville Channel Cats goaltender, Matt Carmichael, was named the South East Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the sixth time this season.
Carmichael, from Bristol, Quebec, added another victory to his league leading total (32 wins), defeating Knoxville on March 19th. Carmichael led all SEHL netminders with his 2.74 goals against average, 3 shutouts, and 92.2% save percentage.
He was named to SEHL All-Star team last week and is a strong contender for Goaltender of the Year honors.
The Cats will host games one and two on April 1 and 2 of the SEHL Championship Series at the Von Braun Center. The Cats will play the winner of the best-of-three series between Knoxville and Cape Fear. Tickets are currently on sale at the VBC Box Office and all TicketMaster locations.
