Canucks Reassign Forward Alexandre Grenier to the Comets

Utica, NY - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has reassigned forward Alexandre Grenier to the Utica Comets.

Grenier, 25, has appeared in 54 games with Utica this season where he ranks tied for third on the team in points (40) and ranks second in goals (16) and power-play goals (7). He has also appeared in three games with the Canucks this season.

A native of Laval, Quebec, Grenier was originally selected by Vancouver in the third round, 90th overall, at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

The Comets return to The AUD on Friday for a 7 p.m. faceoff against the Syracuse Crunch. The game will be broadcasted on 94.9 KROCK and can be viewed on AHL Live. For tickets, visit the fan ticket exchange website, StubHub!.
