
Cane Broome Named NBL Canada Player of the Week

The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Cane Broome of the St. John's Edge has been named Player of the Week for the week ending February 16, 2020.
Broome, a 6'0" rookie guard from the University at Cincinnati, came off the bench to average 22.5 points per game in the Edge's two victories, keeping St. John's in the hunt for an NBL Canada playoff spot.
The National Basketball League of Canada is also pleased to announce that Marvell Waithe of the Halifax Hurricanes has been named Canadian Player of the Week for the week ending February 16, 2020.
Waithe, a 6'4" guard who played collegiately at the University at Arkansas, was the top scorer for the Hurricanes this week, notching 20.5 points per game.
