Utica Comets President, Robert Esche, and Galaxy Communications President and CEO, Ed Levine, announced today that multi-platinum American rock band Candlebox will headline this year's Fan Fest that will take place prior to the Comets vs Crunch game on Saturday Oct. 24 from 3 pm to 7 pm.
The Utica Comets Fan Fest will take place in the area around the Utica Memorial Auditorium, between Charles St. and Broadway starting at 3 p.m. on Oct. 24. Fan Fest events will also include a Utica Comets player autograph booth, a family fun zone with bounce houses and mini-hockey play area, and new this year, a Hometown Hockey Hero Booth, where local professional hockey players will meet with fans and sign autographs.
Candlebox is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington. Their chart-topping hits include "You", "Far Behind", and "Change".
"The partnership with Galaxy Communications has been tremendous from the start," said Robert Esche. "Fan Fest, headlined by Candlebox, will be yet another great event we have been able to collaborate on. Ed and Pam Levine have truly been a great partner over the years."
Food trucks, and cold beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event. The event is free and open to the public, even if you do not have a ticket to that night's game.
