OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Player Name: Henry Burris #1 - Calgary Stampeders
Player Position: Quarterback
Game: CGY (40) vs MTL (37)
Highlights:
Burris rushed for 96 yards and one touchdown on 13 rushes. The âStamps QB also threw for 327 yards and two majors on 17 of 22 passing.
Game Notes:
Burris was outstanding handling the tough Alouettes defence. He was exceptional moving around in the pocket and putting the ball in the hands of his playmakers. Burris showed excellent decision making when he had the ball. He was in total command and when designed plays failed to open up his receivers down field, Burris made things happen with his legs.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Player Name: Kenny Wheaton #30
Player Position: Defensive Back
Game:TOR (22) vs EDM (18)
Highlights:
Wheaton showed his excellent coverage abilities on Saturday. He had nine tackles and one special teams' tackle.
Game Notes:
Wheaton was very quick to make the tackle after completed passes. He recognized the receivers' routes and was quick to react, jumping into the coverage. He was constantly in the right place to make the tackle.

LINEMAN OF THE WEEK
Player Name: Eric England #95 - Toronto Argonauts
Player Position: Defensive Lineman
Game: TOR (22) vs EDM (18)
Highlights:
England had one sack, one interception, three tackles and relentless pressure on Edmonton quarterback Ricky Ray.
Game Notes:
Eric played a high-energy, high-intensity game and made things happen especially on his pass rush. England's power and quickness helped him collapse the pocket and pressure the quarterback.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Player Name: Sandro DeAngelis #12 - Calgary Stampeders
Player Position: Kicker
Game: CGY (40) vs MTL (37)
Highlights:
DeAngelis showed outstanding field goal kicking under pressure. The rookie kicker hit the game winning field goal in the dying seconds of the game. Sandro finished the game with 16 points, which included four field goals.
Game Notes:
In the CFL it is imperative to have a dependable kicker. The Stampeders have found that in rookie kicker Sandro DeAngelis. On Thursday against Montreal Sandro hit all four field goal attempts including a 38-yarder to win the game. His 16 points helped Calgary earn a very important road victory.
