New Haven County Cutters News Release


(New Haven, CT – May 11, 2004) The New Haven County Cutters are holding auditions for entertainers to perform during the 2004 inaugural season on Saturday, May 15th at Yale Field from 10 am until 1 pm.

"This is a call out to all the national anthem singers, jugglers, clowns, balloon twisters, magicians or any other interesting entertainers with talent to share," said Cutters GM Tim Kelly. "It's a chance for this team to connect with local talent and provide them a stage to perform on. We're always looking for different ways to have fun."

National Anthem performers will be asked to perform a version of the US and/or Canadian National Anthems, singers will perform a capella. Those who can not attend are encouraged to send demo material to the Cutters.

Comedic and off-the-wall announcers are encouraged to display their skills at Yale Field. Public Address tryouts will consist of reading from a script, provided by the Cutters.

The New Haven County Cutters play their home games in Elm City's historic Yale Field. The club plays a 92-game schedule in the eight-team independent Northeast League.
