The Kansas City T-Bones broke a 2-2 tie in the third inning with a five-run explosion. Jose O. Duran, Sean Henry and Lee Cruz lead off the inning with three straight singles. After Brandon Jones was walked, first baseman Kala Kaaihue cleared the bases with a grand slam. The T-Bones added on three runs in the sixth and another in the seventh to reach the final tally of 11. Kaaihue went 3-for-4 with five RBI, Duran was 3-for-5 and Reid Fronk was 2-for-3. Nick Singleton earned the win with 6.0 innings of work, striking out seven batters and giving up just two runs on four hits.
