Trailing 4-1 entering the top of the eighth inning, the Brockton Rox rallied for four runs to take a 5-4 lead. After the Jackals tied the score at 5-5 in the bottom of the frame, Brockton again rallied, this time for a run, to go up 6-5 and held on for the win. Rox LF Palmer Karr was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the contest while C Chris Grossman had a 3-for-4 night with a pair driven in. New Jersey DH Quinn Stewart was 2-for-5 with four RBI to lead the Jackals offense in the losing effort.

Worcester 3B Chris Colabello was 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI to help the Tornadoes past the American Defenders, 10-6. Colabello was one of five Worcester hitters to record multi-hit games. CF Lucas Taylor led all hitters, going 3-for-3 with two runs scored and a RBI out of the leadoff spot. Tornadoes starting pitcher Ryan Lobban allowed three runs on eight hits while striking out four in six innings to earn the win and improve to 8-3 on the season.
