Rockland 6, Quebec 2
A four-run fifth pushed the Boulders to the home victory at Provident Bank Park. LF Joe Maloney had a two-run home run in the inning, C Marcus Nidiffer drove in a run with a triple and 2B Matt Nandin had the final RBI of the inning, scoring Nidiffer with a double. Nidiffer had previously hit an RBI single in the second inning.
Nidiffer, CF Ryan Stovall, 3B Stephen Cardullo, and DH Steve Nyisztor had two hits each for Rockland. LF Matt Helms was 3-for-4 for Quebec.
LHP Richard Salazar struck out four in five and 1/3 innings en route to earning the win for Rockland.
Trois-Rivieres at New Jersey- Postponed
The game between the Aigles and Jackals was postponed due to rain. The two clubs will play a doubleheader on Thursday beginning at 5:00 p.m. from Yogi Berra Stadium.
