Rockland 5, Quebec 4
The Rockland Boulders took the lead in the bottom of the seventh inning on a double from LF Joe Maloney - who was 3-for-4 on the night - and shut down the Quebec Capitales the rest of the way to claim a 5-4 victory.
CF Antone DeJesus and 1B Jerod Edmondson also had three hits on the night as the team racked up 15 hits for the game. The Capitales struck first as they put up two runs in the top of the first but the Boulders responded with three runs in the second. Quebec tied up the game in the sixth inning when 3B Balbino Fuenmayor singled in a run and then scored later in the inning. Fuenmayor had a team-high two RBI.
The win was credited to starter Sean Bierman for allowing four runs (three earned) on nine hits in seven innings.
Trois-Rivieres 11, New Jersey 1
Seven different Trois-Rivieres Aigles combined for 16 hits as they handled the New Jersey Jackals 11-1.
