Brockton 3, Quebec 1

Red-hot Brockton starter Mike Wlodarczyk won his fourth straight decision and led the Rox to a 3-1 win over Quebec. Wlodarczyk allowed just one run and three hits while striking out seven over seven innings to earn his league-leading fifth win of the season. Relievers Colin Lynch and Hunter Davis, who picked up his third save, combined to pitch two scoreless innings behind Wlodarczyk. The Rox took the lead in the second when 3B Phillip Cuadrado hit a solo home run and C Chris Grossman hit an RBI double, and added an insurance tally in the fifth. Quebec starter Troy Cate, making his first appearance of the season, pitched the complete eight innings and struck out 10 Brockton batters in the loss.

Worcester 7, Pittsfield 6 (10 innings)

Worcester won in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the 10th inning to deny Pittsfield's comeback efforts. The Colonials had forced extra innings by scoring two in the top of the ninth, but Worcester rallied to plate the winning run in the first additional frame. LF Ryan Crespi had a big night at the plate for the Tornadoes, finishing 3-for-6 with two runs and three RBI. Worcester reliever John Slusarz blew the save in the ninth, but didn't allow a run in the 10th to pick up his second win of the season.

Sussex 7, New Jersey 5 (10 innings)

Sussex CF Carl Loadenthal took the role of hero when he singled home two in the top of the 10th to push the Skyhawks past New Jersey 7-5. Loadenthal also started the scoring in the first inning when he hit his third home run of the season. Sussex closer Duaner Sanchez blew a 5-4 lead in the ninth when he allowed an RBI single by LF Jacob Butler, but picked up his first win of the season by turning in a scoreless 10th.
