Brockton 2, Worcester 1
Rox starting pitcher Mike Wlodarczyk allowed one run on six hits while striking out nine over seven strong innings to lead Brockton to a 2-1 win over Worcester. With the victory, Wlodarczyk improved his record to 3-1 on the season. Rox C Chris Grossman led the way at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and a RBI. 1B Melvin Falu drove in Brockton's only other run and finished 2-for-4. Rox reliever Hunter Davis tossed a perfect eighth and ninth to earn his first save.
Pittsfield 4, Sussex 3
Pittsfield scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning and never trailed en route to a 4-3 win over Sussex. Colonials starting pitcher Kyle Zaleski allowed one run on four hits while striking out a pair in seven innings to earn the win and improve to 2-1 on the year. Pittsfield LF Rafael Cabreja was 3-for-4 with a double to lead the way at the plate, while RF Daniel Carte and 1B Jerod Edmondson each drove in a pair to power the Colonials. Pittsfield reliever Patrick Moran tossed a scoreless ninth to earn his first save.
Quebec 10, New Jersey 4
Quebec DH Marc Mimeault was 4-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI to lead the Capitales to an easy win on the road against New Jersey. Quebec trailed, 3-1, after five innings, but tallied four runs in the sixth to go up, 4-3, and never trailed again. Capitales starting pitcher Andy Schon allowed three runs on five hits while striking out five in six innings of work for his first win of the season. New Jersey LF Jacob Butler was 2-for-3 with a pair of walks and two RBI in the losing effort.
