The game between New Jersey and Sussex was suspended due to power failure and will be completed Sunday June 8 prior to the start of the regularly scheduled game.

Quebec 10, Nashua 3

The Capitales sent 13 men to the plate in the home half of the first inning scoring eight times in a 10-3 rout of Nashua. Pride starter Bucky Kosyk had a 2-0 lead before throwing his first pitch but managed to retire just one hitter. Quebec tallied eight hits in the inning, seven of which were singles. Combined with a hit batter and a fielding error, the scoreboard read Quebec 8, Nashua 2 after one inning of play. Kevin Beavers pitched seven innings for Quebec and allowed eight hits and three earned runs to improve to 1-2 on the year. RF Mike Goss finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a RBI, one of five Capitales with multiple hits in the game.

Worcester 6, Ottawa 4

Led by CF BJ Weed and 3B Michael MacMillan, Worcester overcame an early 3-0 deficit to defeat Ottawa 6-4. The Rapidz used five singles in the first inning to score three times before the Tornadoes tied the game with three runs in the top of the third. Weed doubled in the inning to bring in two runs and later scored on a sacrifice fly. In the seventh inning MacMillan led off with a single and came around to score on a hit by 1B Chris Colabello. That gave Worcester a 4-3 lead which they added to in the eighth inning when MacMillan singled again to score OF Rico Santana and 2B Omar Pena scored on a passed ball. Ryan Lobban got the win in relief by pitching a scoreless seventh inning. John Birtwell struck out three in the ninth for his third save.

Atlantic City 10, Brockton 3

Atlantic City jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second inning, added five more runs in the fourth, and cruised to a 10-3 win over Brockton. Brian Rodaway turned in a fine pitching performance as he allowed no runs through seven innings and surrendered just five hits to improve his record to 3-1. Mike McTamney was not as sharp for Brockton as he lasted just three innings and gave up six earned runs to fall to 0-3. RF Josh Burrus doubled to open the second inning for Atlantic City before SS Anthony Granato homered to left field to make it 2-0. The Surf tacked on another run in the inning to lead 3-0 and scored five more in the fourth inning including two on 3B Billy Hogan's double to left center. C William Plaza and 1B Joe Burke had big nights at the plate as they combined to go 6-for-8 with four runs scored and three batted in.
