Down 9-3 in the top of the seventh Brockton exploded for eight runs and went on to defeat Nashua by a score of 12-9. It was a rough night for pitchers as the teams put a total of 30 hits on the scoreboard. Nashua led 5-3 after two innings, piling up six hits, but the Rox chased two Nashua pitchers from the mound in the seventh as they sent 13 men to the plate. Amazingly, only one of the eight hits was for extra bases. Seven singles, a double, a hit batter and a Nashua error resulted in eight runs scored. After Brockton got the lead, Ryan Williams pitched two innings of relief and allowed one run for his first win of the year.
