Trois-Rivieres 4, Quebec 1 - Box Score

Trois-Rivieres finished off the three-game sweep of Quebec as they downed the Capitales by the score of 4-1.

Aigles starting pitcher Kevin McNorton tossed seven solid innings and notched his ninth victory of the season. McNorton gave up an earned run on seven hits and struck out two batters. Trois-Rivieres closer Garrett Mundell threw a scoreless ninth inning and collected his league leading 20th save of the year. Mundell allowed a walk and struck out one in the four batters he faced.

Offensively for the Aigles, 3B Taylor Brennan led the way at the plate going 1-for-2 with a home run, two runs scored and an RBI. Trois-Rivieres 1B Juan Kelly added a pair of hits, including a blast of his own, and an RBI while 2B Tucker Nathans doubled and plated a run.

For Quebec in the losing effort, SS Yordan Manduley had a 2-for-4 night with a solo home run.

New Jersey 3, Sussex County 2 - Box Score

Second baseman Nelson Ward singled home PR Santiago Chirino with the game winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as New Jersey defeated Sussex County in a walk-off, 3-2.

Jackals 3B Conrad Gregor led off the big rally with a base hit. After a LF Alfredo Marte fly out, 1B Richard Stock reached base on a fielder's choice with Gregor out at second base. Designated hitter David Harris then followed Stock and collected a single to put runners on first and second with two out. With Chirino pinch running for Stock at second, Ward came up and picked-up the big hit to score Chirino and give New Jersey the victory.

Gregor had two hits in four at-bats while SS Andrew Dundon contributed a 1-for-3 night with a solo home run.

Jackals pitcher Reece Karalus tossed two scoreless innings of relief and claimed the win. The righty struck out three batters in the six that he faced. With the victory, Karalus is now 6-4 on the season.

Ottawa 5, Rockland 3 - Box Score

Ottawa scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to break a 2-2 tie and would go on to beat Rockland by the final of 5-3. With the victory, the Champions took two out of three in the series.

First baseman Brian Portelli led the way offensively for Ottawa going 1-for-3 with a home run, three runs scored and an RBI. Champions C Stephen Octave and SS Nick DeTringo each picked-up a hit and an RBI while LF Steve Brown plated a run in a 1-for-4 night.

Ottawa pitcher Jordan Kurokawa threw a scoreless inning of relief and notched his second win of the season. Kurokawa walked one and struck out two in the four batters he faced.

Designated hitter Grant Heyman went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs in the loss for the Boulders.
