Quebec 6, Trois-Rivieres 5 - Box Score
Designated hitter Chris Shaw singled home RF Jhalan Jackson with the game winning run as Quebec rallied for four runs in the ninth inning to beat Trois-Rivieres, 6-5.
After two scoreless innings to start the contest, the Capitales plated single runs in the third and fourth innings to take a 2-0 lead. The Aigles would comeback to score a run in the fifth and two more in the seventh and eighth to grab a 5-2 advantage. The lead for Trois-Rivieres would not last for long as Shaw's single in the ninth capped off a four-run rally by Quebec to win in a walk-off.
Shaw went 3-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI while 1B TJ White had two hits in four at-bats along with a run.
Quebec pitcher Dany Paradis-Giroux tossed a scoreless inning of relief and notched the victory. The William Woods University product gave up a hit and a walk to go along with a strikeout in the four batters that he faced. With the win, Paradis-Giroux improved his record to 2-2 on the season.
For the Aigles in the loss, LF David Glaude had a 2-for-4 night with a run scored and two RBIs.
