Ottawa 5, Trois-Rivieres 4 - Box Score

Ottawa plated three runs in the eighth inning to rally from a 4-2 deficit and defeat Trois-Rivieres by a 5-4 score.

The Champions jumped out in front 1-0 in the first as RF Jiandido Tromp came home to score on a sacrifice fly from 1B Vincent Guglietti. The score would stay that way until the sixth when the Aigles took a 3-1 advantage thanks to a three-run home run by RF Michael Suchy. Ottawa would plate a run in the bottom half of the inning to cut the lead to 3-2 before Trois-Rivieres added a run of their own in the seventh to increase the advantage to 4-2. The Champions would not be denied however at they scored the three runs in the eighth via an error and a two-run blast by Guglietti to take the lead for good and win the contest.

Guglietti went 2-for-3 with three RBIs while 2B Maikol Gonzalez scored a pair of runs in a 1-for-2 night.

Ottawa reliever Zach Vennaro threw two scoreless innings and notched his first win of the season. Vennaro gave up only a walk in the seven batters that he faced.

Rockland 7, Quebec 3 - Box Score

The Rockland Boulders scored a pair of runs in the sixth inning to break a 3-3 tie and went on to defeat Quebec by the score of 7-3.

Rockland scored single runs in three of the first four innings of the contest to grab a 3-2 lead. Quebec plated a run in the top of the sixth to tie it at 3-3 before the Boulders scored the two runs in the bottom frame to give them the lead for good at 5-3. Rockland would add two more insurance runs in the eighth.

The Boulders had 10 hits on the night and was led by the 6-7 hitters of 3B John Brontsema and 2B Ryne Birk. The duo went a combined 5-for-7 at the plate with two home runs (one by each), four runs scored and three RBIs. Birk was a single shy of hitting for the cycle.

Rockland pitcher James Mulry tossed one inning of relief and picked-up his second win the season. Mulry gave up an earned run on a hit and struck out three batters.

New Jersey 11, Sussex County 7 - Box Score

New Jersey scored nine runs over the seven and eighth innings to erase a 6-2 deficit and beat Sussex County by a final of 11-7.

The Jackals were led at the plate by the trio of 1B Conrad Gregor, LF Alfredo Marte and RF Demetrius Moorer. Gregor went 1-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and four RBIs while Marte had three hits in five at-bats, including a blast, and four RBIs. Moorer plated a pair of runs in a perfect 3-for-3 night. In total, New Jersey had 14 hits on the night.

Jackals reliever Javier Reynoso threw an 1/3 of an inning and notched the victory. The lefty gave up two earned runs on a hit and fanned a batter. Reynoso is now 2-0 on the year.

For the Miners in the loss, RF Noah Cummings had a 3-for-4 night with a home run, two runs scored and four RBIs.
