Trois-Rivieres 16, Ottawa 1
It was all Trois-Rivieres tonight as they rolled past Ottawa by the score of 16-1. The Aigles jumped out to an 8-0 lead after just three innings of play and would never back en route to the big victory.
Trois-Rivieres banged out 14 hits in the contest with eight of the 10 batters collecting at least one. Aigles SS Sam Dexter went 3-for-3 at the plate with two runs scored and two RBIs while DH Alexi Colon and LF Javier Herrera combined to drive in eight runs along with collecting four hits and scoring twice. First baseman Kevin Cornelius also chipped in a home run in three at-bats, scored three times and drove in a pair of runs for Trois-Rivieres.
Aigles starting pitcher Yender Caramo tossed seven shutout innings and earned his second win of the season. Caramo gave up four hits and struck two batters in an 85-pitch performance.
Quebec 6, Hollywood 5
Quebec tallied a pair of runs in the seventh inning to grab a 6-2 advantage and that would be the difference in the game as the Capitales edged past Hollywood, 6-5.
The Capitales jumped out in front 4-0 in the first inning thanks to a wild pitch and run-producing singles by DH TJ White and C Adam Ehrlich. The score would stay that way until the top of the seventh when 1B Chris Kwitzer and RF Tom McKenna each hit a solo home run to cut the Quebec lead to 4-2. The Capitales would then put the game way in the bottom frame when they plated a pair of runs on a triple from LF James McOwen and a 2B Maxx Tissenbaum sacrifice fly. Hollywood tallied three runs in the eighth to make the game interesting but Quebec held on for the win.
Ehrlich had a perfect 4-for-4 game at the plate with two RBIs while McOwen scored a pair of runs and drove in one in a 1-for-3 night.
Capitales starting pitcher Lazaro Blanco allowed two earned runs over 6 2/3 innings of work to nab his third win of the season. Blanco gave up two walks and six hits to go along with eight strikeouts.
Sussex County 8, Rockland 4
Sussex County jumped out to a 5-1 lead after three innings and would cruise from there to an 8-4 victory over Rockland. The Miners had 12 hits in the game and were helped offensively by the 1-2-3 hitters of CF Jayce Ray, SS Jarred Mederos and 1B Audy Ciriaco. The trio combined to go 6-for-12 at the plate with five runs scored and three RBIs. Along with those three, 2B Mikey Reynolds scored a pair of runs and drove in one in a 2-for-5 night.

For the Boulders in the loss, C Kevin Krause went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
New Jersey 12, Salina 5
After falling behind 3-2 through two innings of play, New Jersey would score three runs in the third and five more in the fifth to take full control and defeat Salina, 12-5.
