Quebec 6, Worcester 4
Quebec completed a three-game sweep of Worcester as the Capitales downed the Tornadoes, 6-4. Designated hitter Rene Leveret led the Quebec offense going 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBI. Capitales SS Jeff Helps also hit a home run along with scoring two runs and driving in three. Quebec starting pitcher Dustin Crenshaw notched his second win of the season. Crenshaw allowed four earned runs on 10 hits with two walks and five strikeouts.
New Jersey 8, Rockland 1
New Jersey scored five runs in the seventh inning to break open a close game and beat Rockland, 8-1. The win by the Jackals is their four straight and completes a three-game sweep of the Boulders. New Jersey RF Edgard Clemente had three hits in the game while 3B Nick Giarraputo had two hits, including a home run, two runs scored and three RBI. Jackals starting pitcher Steve Fox won his 12th game of the season as he allowed an earned run on four hits in seven innings pitched. For Rockland in defeat, 3B Phillip Cuadrado hit his 10th home of the season.
