New York 6, Rockland 5 (Game 1 - 7 Innings)
Trailing 5-1, the New York Federals surged for four runs in the top of the sixth to tie the game and scored the go-ahead run in the seventh to defeat the Rockland Boulders 6-5. In the pivotal top of the sixth, New York 2B Jose Reyes hit an RBI single, and DH Mike Castellano followed that with an RBI single of his own to cut Rockland's lead in half. Two batters later, SS Scott Dubben batted in Reyes and Castellano on a two-RBI single that tied the game 5-5. In the top of the seventh, Reyes hit the go-ahead RBI single to complete the Federals' comeback. Federals reliever Alex Foltz worked a scoreless bottom of the seventh to secure New York's win and earn the save. New York relief pitcher Bryan Penalo earned the win for his scoreless sixth inning pitched. For Rockland, SS Ray Stokes had a double and two RBIs in the loss.
New York at Rockland (Game 2 - Cancelled - Rain)
The second game of the doubleheader between New York and Rockland has been cancelled due to rain. Since the teams do not play again this season the game will not be made up.
New Jersey 2, Brockton 2 (Suspended - Bottom 4th)
The game between Brockton and New Jersey was suspended due to rain with the score tied 2-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning. The game will be completed on Monday, August 29 beginning at 5:00 p.m. The regularly scheduled game will follow the completion of the suspended game.
Quebec at Worcester (Postponed - Rain)
The game scheduled between Quebec and Worcester was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Friday, September 2 in Quebec.
Pittsfield 9, Newark 0 (Forfeit)
