New Jersey 18, New York 0

James Leverton, who now owns a 5-2 record this season, led New Jersey to an 18-0 win against New York at Yogi Berra Stadium, allowing just three hits, no runs and striking out six in seven innings pitched. The Jackals recorded 20 total hits in the game, and shortstop Mike DeJesus led New Jersey with five hits, four runs and two RBI in six at-bats. Six different Jackals had multiple hits in the game, and third baseman Nick Giarraputo chipped in four hits, two runs and two RBI in six at-bats. New Jersey scored in seven of nine innings, and the Jackals recorded five runs in the sixth inning alone. Left fielder Jacob Fabry, third baseman Brad Jackson and second baseman Jacob Rosenbeck were the only Federals to record hits in the game. The Jackals left a total of 10 men on base during the game, while the Federals stranded just two. Luis Pardo, now 0-3 on the season, recorded the loss, allowing 10 hits, 10 runs and walking three in 3.2 innings pitched.

Pittsfield 3, Brockton 2

Brockton first baseman Trey Hernandez hit a two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning to bring the game against Pittsfield to extra innings, but the Colonials scored a run in the bottom of the 11th inning to beat the Rox 3-2 at Wahconah Park. Pittsfield scored in the bottom of the second inning when designated hitter Quentin Davis doubled and drove in right fielder Peter Fatse. The Colonials scored again in the bottom of the fifth inning when center fielder Jerod Edmondson hit a solo home run. After going scoreless through eight frames, Hernandez's home run tied the game 2-2 in the top of the ninth. In the 11th inning, second baseman Danny Bomback hit a home run to win the game for Pittsfield. Shortstop Matt Nandin was the only Colonial to record multiple hits in the game, and he had two of Pittsfield's eight total hits. Right fielder Keith Brachold led Brockton with three hits and one run in five at-bats. Mike Zenko, now 4-0 on the season, earned the win by allowing three hits, no runs and striking out four in two innings pitched.
