Quebec 4, Worcester 1
After remaining scoreless for five innings and trailing Worcester 1-0, Quebec scored four runs during the fifth and seventh innings to beat the Tornadoes 4-1 at Le Stade Municipal Stadium. Neither team scored during the first two frames, but Worcester finally got on the board in the top of the third when left fielder Alex Nunez doubled to drive in catcher Anthony Sosnoskie. The Capitales scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, and added two more in the seventh to seal the deal. Quebec had just five hits to Worcester's eight, and the Tornadoes left nine men on base during the game. Third baseman Robert Wagner led the Capitales with one run, one hit and one RBI in four at-bats. Sosnoskie was the only player on either team to record multiple hits in the game, and he led the Tornadoes with one run and two hits. Dan Sausville earned his fourth win of the season, allowing seven hits, one run and striking out three in seven innings pitched.
