New Jersey 2, New York 1

New Jersey countered New York's one-run first inning with two runs in the bottom half of the frame, and that lead held the rest of the way as the Jackals defeated the Federals 2-1. New York RF Tom Maloney singled in CF Stephen Pinto in the top of the first to give New York a 1-0 lead. Jackals starting pitcher Ryan Kulik then buckled down to get out of the inning with only the one run scoring. In the bottom half of the frame, Jackals DH Mike Jones singled with two outs to score 2B Argenis Reyes and tie the game 1-1. New Jersey 3B Nick Giarraputo then singled, allowing Jones to advance to third base; Jones then came around to score on LF Jeremy Slayden's RBI single to give New Jersey the lead. Kulik pitched six innings, struck out four hitters and allowed just the one run to earn the win. New Jersey reliever Jeff Gogal worked a 1-2-3 ninth to earn the save.

Worcester 4, Newark 2 (Bottom 9 - Game in progress)

The game between Worcester and Newark is still in progress. Worcester currently leads 4-2 in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Quebec at Pittsfield (Postponed - Rain)
