Rockland 3, Brockton 1

More than 6,300 people looked on as Rockland beat Brockton 3-1. The Boulders scored all three of their runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, causing Brockton to play catch-up for the rest of the night. Brockton scored in the top of the sixth inning when center fielder Chris Valencia led off with a home run, but his was the only run scored by the Rox. Rockland had just six total hits, and two of them came from first baseman Norm Hutchins. Bobby Blevins earned his second win of the season, allowing just three hits, one run and striking out four in eight innings pitched. Right fielder Keith Brachold and second baseman Mike Torres also had hits for the Boulders.

New Jersey 6, Pittsfield 3

After three scoreless innings, New Jersey scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth en route to a 6-3 win against Pittsfield. Kris Sanchez hit a three-run homer to put New Jersey on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning, but it didn't take Pittsfield long to respond. The Colonials scored one run in each of the sixth, seventh and ninth innings. Pittsfield third baseman Johnny Welch hit a home run in the top of the seventh, but the Colonials' efforts still came up short. New Jersey scored again in the bottom of the sixth and seventh innings to seal the deal. James Leverton earned his second win of the season, allowing three hits, two runs and striking out four in seven innings pitched.

Quebec 6, New York 4

Quebec's four-run seventh inning helped fuel the Capitales to a 6-4 win against New York. Quebec led the Federals 2-0 after three innings, but New York scored the next four runs to take the lead. In the bottom of the seventh inning, a Rene Leveret single scored the first run of the inning for Quebec. The Capitales racked up four runs on two hits before Seth Henry struck out swinging for out number three. Three Capitales had multiple hits, and five different players batted in Quebec's six runs. New York right fielder Tom Maloney had one hit and two runs in three at-bats to lead the Federals.
